The state-owned facility, located on Scituate Harbor, will undergo extensive improvements as part of the Jericho Road Boat Ramp Parking Lot and Site Improvements Project. The project is being led by the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game’s Office of Fishing and Boating Access (OFBA).

According to the notice, the project will include “improvements to the parking lot, adjacent seawall and rip rap armor stones, lighting, and miscellaneous gangway work to improve public access to Scituate Harbor.”

The public is advised that “work is scheduled to start on or after April 28, 2025.”

All work is expected to be completed “no later than June 15, 2025.”

The facility will be closed to ensure public safety during construction. However, the state notes that “the facility may be open earlier if construction operations are completed.”
