Norwell Boys Lacrosse Dominates Oakmont to Advance to Final Four

The Norwell boys lacrosse team is headed to the Final Four after a commanding 18-6 win over Oakmont in the MIAA Division 4 Elite Eight on Sunday.

Led by an explosive offensive performance, the Clippers overwhelmed their opponent from the start. Teddy Glynn notched an incredible five goals and added an assist to lead all scorers, while Matt Panttila tallied a hat trick and three assists in a standout all-around performance.

Norwell’s offense was firing on all cylinders. Joey McCarthy and Jake McGuirk each netted three goals and an assist, Oliver Rice scored once and dished out four helpers, and Bret Amorosino added a goal and an assist. Ty Lambert and Will Lievi each scored once, while Petey Cohane and Jack Williams contributed assists.

With the win, the Clippers continue their postseason run and will play in the Division 4 semifinals later this week.
