Simpson Ousts Fidler in Marshfield; Greer, Brait Keep School Seats

Trish Simpson unseated incumbent Lynne Fidler by 340 votes in Saturday’s annual town election, winning 2,139 votes to Fidler’s 1,799.

" I have always believed that individuals run for town government to serve the best interests of the community," SImpson told the South Shore Times. "I am motivated to bring integrity, transparency, and accountability to Marshfield’s leadership."

In the race for two seats on the School Committee, incumbents Lara Brait and Richard Greer Jr. held off challenger Scott Swain. Greer led with 2,505 votes, followed by Brait with 2,218. Swain received 1,749 votes.
