Former Cohasset Teacher Sentenced for Sexual Assaults on Students

COHASSET — A former Cohasset Middle School teacher was sentenced Monday for sexually assaulting two students during his time at the school.

Jeffrey Knight, 64, pleaded guilty to multiple counts of aggravated indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. The offenses involved two students Knight taught in 7th and 8th grade.

Knight was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of two and a half years for each victim, followed by five years of probation. His probation conditions prohibit contact with the victims, require participation in sex-offender treatment, and restrict contact with children under 16, except in limited circumstances with his grandchildren.

Knight previously served time after a 2021 conviction for assaulting another student at the same school.
