Norwell Girls B-ball Shuts Down East Bridgewater to Improve to 6-1
The Norwell High School girls basketball team showcased their depth and defensive grit Tuesday night, pulling away in the second half to secure a commanding 51-30 victory over East Bridgewater.
After a physical first half, the Clippers found their rhythm on both ends of the court, using balanced scoring and a strong defensive effort to notch their sixth win of the season.
Senior Maddie Oliver led the way with a double-double, tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Oliver’s presence in the paint was key to Norwell’s dominance on the boards and their ability to control the game’s tempo.
Holly Panttila added 10 points and three steals, providing a spark on both offense and defense. Paige Maguire contributed eight points and five rebounds, while Reagan Dowd stuffed the stat sheet with six points, six rebounds, and six assists.
With the win, Norwell improves to 6-1 and continues to build momentum in what has been an impressive start to the season.
