Hingham High Ski Teams Shine at Ragged Mountain Races
Hingham High School's ski teams delivered exceptional performances at the Ragged Mountain Varsity Races on January 11, with the girls’ team leading the charge and the boys’ team following with impressive results.
Women’s Team Results
Hingham's girls dominated the race, with Libby Rogers claiming the top spot with a time of 35.01, edging out the competition by nearly a second. Isabel duBose followed in 9th place at 39.47, while Eva Perine placed 11th with a time of 39.74. Louisa Orth (23rd) and Delaney O'Horo (27th) further contributed to the team's strong showing. Hingham’s women’s team showed incredible depth, with top finishes from skiers like Gabi Magner (31st) and Rebecca Kardoos (40th), solidifying their competitive position for the season ahead.
Men’s Team Results
On the boys' side, John Doyle led the way for Hingham, finishing 13th overall with a time of 36.78. Charlie Harris followed in 21st place, clocking in at 38.47, while Asher Tarby earned 26th place with a time of 39.63. Connor Cease (32nd) and Ryan Klein (36th) added to the team’s depth, showcasing consistent performances that highlighted the boys' collective strength.
Despite tough competition from teams like Needham and BCH, the Hingham boys held their ground with solid placements, building momentum for the remainder of the season.

With a powerful performance from both teams at Ragged Mountain, Hingham High’s ski squads are poised for a successful season. The girls' team, in particular, is showing great promise with Rogers’ dominant win, while the boys' team continues to demonstrate its depth and resilience.
