Thelma Louise (Daggett) Wood, age 94, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Earl Daggett and Elizabeth (McGurr) Daggett, and was a graduate of Memorial High School in Dorchester, graduating Class of 1948. 

She moved to Stoughton in 1949 where she lived over 40 years with husband, Lawrence W. Wood who passed in 1996, and previously lived in Raynham and Port Orange, FL. Thelma loved to travel with favorite trips being to Hawaii, Italy and Ireland with her daughters, sister and friends. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Nancy E. Russell of Pembroke, previously of Stoughton and her late husband Kenneth J. Russell and was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela J. Stapleton and is survived by her son-in-law Jerry W. Stapleton. 

She was predeceased by her siblings Earl Daggett, Edward Daggett, Stephen Daggett, Howard Daggett, Beverly Daggett, and Stephanie Myers. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews from Massachusetts, Florida, New Hampshire and Georgia.
