Sheila Ann McGrail

Sheila McGrail, age 60, passed away on Friday, February 6, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts in 1965, Sheila was raised in Walpole and graduated from Walpole High School in 1983.

Sheila enjoyed a long career with Boston Edison (later Entergy) in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the community she proudly called home. She lived across from the beach — her favorite place in the world — where she spent countless happy hours relaxing and reading by the water. Her home by the ocean became a gathering place for family and she treasured the time spent there with her loved ones, nephews and niece. The memories made together at “Sheila’s beach” will be cherished by her family for years to come.

Loving sister of Michael McGrail, Daniel McGrail, Kathleen Nordstrom, Maureen Brown, Anne Marie Lavanchy and Mary Ellen Barry.

Cherished aunt of Garrett, Andrew and Ryan Nordstrom, Jason Brown, and Matthew, Jack, Brett and Lauren Lavanchy.

Sheila was preceded in death by parents John M. McGrail and Anne M. McGrail.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Sheila’s visitation on Thursday, February 12 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A funeral home service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place privately at the request of Sheila's family.
