Phyllis Jean (Maloof) Dyer, 72, of Hanover, MA, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Quincy, MA, on March 12, 1953, Phyllis was the cherished daughter of the late Phillip and Lillian Maloof.

Phyllis's heart overflowed with love for her family, who were her greatest source of joy. She was a devoted mother to Michael Dyer and his partner Whitney Hoyle of Whitman, MA, Jillian Wiencko and her husband Brian of East Bridgewater, MA, and Lauren Cleggett and her husband Richard of Hanson, MA. Her six grandchildren-Kylah, Jackson, Aiden, Allie, John, and Charlie-knew her as their beloved Yaya, and she found boundless happiness in their lives, treasuring every moment spent with them.

A woman of vibrant creativity, Phyllis poured her artistic spirit into her home and garden. She took pride in projects like redesigning a stone walkway and found solace in tending her flowers, riding her tractor, and listening to music. Her love for the beach and sunshine was infectious, where she created lasting memories with friends and family. Phyllis dedicated many years of her career to serving her community, working at Carney Hospital and later at Cedar and Sylvester Schools, where her warmth and kindness touched countless lives.

Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved sister, Linda Wilson. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Gilmartin, as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.
