John Anthony Baldinelli, 79, of Hanover, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his winter home in Naples, Florida.

Born on January 13, 1947, in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late John and Mary (DeRita) Baldinelli. John is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Janice V. (Jackson) Baldinelli, his children, Jay Baldinelli and his wife Jeannette and Scott Baldinelli and his wife Danielle, all of Hanover, MA. John was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Kate, Addie, Jack, Nathan, and William, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Dennis Baldinelli and his wife Nancy of Florida, and Donna Murray and her husband Bob of Rhode Island, along with many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

John proudly served in the United States Army and carried deep pride in both his own service and that of his father and father in-law, William Jackson. A lifelong athlete, John was an All-State baseball player in his youth. He remained active throughout his life as an avid softball player, tennis player, and golfer. He spent many cherished summers at Mill Pond Swim & Tennis Club and was a familiar face at Green Harbor Golf Club, known for securing early morning tee times on Saturdays. In later years, he enjoyed Harmon Golf Club - nine holes followed by lunch with friends. For 50 years, John was a dedicated and proud member of the Haggar Apparel Company, where he built lasting friendships.

Above all, John was a devoted husband, father, and proud family man whose steady presence and reliability defined his life.
