HARRISON, James P. "Jim" Age 65, of Hanover, formerly of Pembroke and Plymouth, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 14, 2026, after a hard fought battle against Parkinson's Disease. Born in Dorchester, Jim grew up in Pembroke, where he was a standout baseball and hockey player and a 2015 Silver Lake Athletic Hall of Fame inductee. A passionate golfer, he was a former member of Furnace Brook and Harmon Golf Clubs and enjoyed playing with his friends and family. Jim loved nothing more than being a dad. Never missing a game, he took great pride watching his children from the sidelines. A social butterfly, he welcomed every opportunity for lunch, dinner, a golf outing or a sporting event. Jim battled Parkinson's disease alongside a community of warriors at 110 Fitness in Rockland. He was most recently in the care of Sunrise of Braintree, where he was a beloved friend to all residents, staff and visiting families. Son of the late John and Theresa Harrison; he is survived by his son, James and his wife, Marlena; daughter, Abby; his former wife, Kerry; sister, Jeanette; and many nieces and nephews. The family asks you to wear a hint of red to the services in memory of Jim's fight against Parkinson's. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, HANOVER, on Wednesday, March 18. from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary's, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Thursday, at 9am.
