Helen C. (Pelati) Camia, 35 of Hanover and formerly Randolph, passed away on January 15, 2026 due to brain complications.

She was born on February 16, 1990, in Weymouth, MA to Barbara Riordan, originally from South Boston and the late George F. Pelati, originally from Bridgewater and longtime resident of Randolph. She was the twin sister of Rose Pelati of Attleboro. Great-granddaughter of Beverly Hurlbut of Arizona.

Helen was the wife to George F. Camia (formerly of Quincy) and mother to Ella and Clara; Auntie to Lily Nycz of Attleboro; Daughter-in-law to Eleanor Forrest and George Camia (formerly of Quincy). Niece and Cousin to the Gailunas Family of South Boston; the Dempsey Family of Bridgewater and the Riordan Family of Maine.

She attended Martin E. Young Elementary; Blue Hills Vocational Technical School and Bridgewater State College.

Helen enjoyed working in the hospitality industry, first for Aramark at Fenway Park, and gained immense knowledge and confidence from her role as Front Desk Customer Service and Auditor for Roundhouse, Boston. It was at the Adams Inn in Quincy where she met her husband, George. After starting a family and raising Ella and Clara to school age, Helen went back to work for the Hanover School System as a Lunch Lady, where she found new friendships.

Helen was a passionate reader and fell in love with the Harry Potter series, reading them repeatedly as a young adult and to her daughters. She was a "Lego Engineer" and Harry Potter wizard and built every Harry Potter themed Lego she could. A self-proclaimed "Fandom Nerd," Helen had a love of many Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Superhero universes and could talk passionately about mostly any Series, Movie universe, or TV show you could name.

Helen had a special connection with her 2 daughters and gifted her love of imagination to them, watching Disney movies early on. Oftentimes the 3 of them would be found singing and dancing along with the soundtracks. She and her family spent many memorable Summer and Winter vacation times in Londonderry VT, Warren VT, and Franconia NH.

Known as "Auntie Helen" to many of the children who knew her, as she had a special connection with the children of her family and friends. She created many happy special memories for us all. Her legacy is her kindness and love and she will never be forgotten. We all miss her tremendously.

She has been remembered by many friends for her kindness, warmth, humor and love.

Memorial visitation will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Saturday, January 24th from 2–5pm. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Helen would have liked donations to be sent to: Furget Me Not, a volunteer only run animal shelter in Hanson, MA. They can be found on venmo @unfurgetme; or checks can be sent to: Furget Me Not #223; 13 School Street, Bryantville, MA 02327.
