Ellen A. Barrett

Ellen A. Barrett of Plymouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Jan 26, 2026 at the Beth Israel Hospital-Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Dennis (Sid) Barrett and loving mother to Bryan Barrett of Weymouth Ma, Kevin Barrett of Watertown CT, and Kellyann Barrett of Portsmouth, RI. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ellen was a longtime resident of Kingston and Plymouth. She was active with youth sports and coached boys Hilltop Basketball and girls Kingston youth soccer. She loved playing golf and tending to her yard with her husband. She also loved to travel with family and friends, and gained more along the way. She had a great circle of friends that she loved so very much and they meant the world to her.

Ellen was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to, as she called them, her Patriots. She knew more stats about the team than most. I know she is up in heaven saying "on to Seattle". She always looked forward to Sundays watching with her family. Now you can enjoy watching the super bowl with Dad. Go Pats!!!!!

A visitation will take place at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (NORTH) Plymouth, on Sunday, February 15th, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. A Mass will take place the following day at St Mary's Church, in Plymouth, at 10:30 am.
