The Company Theatre Announces Its 2026 Season

From the Kit Kat Club to Arendelle: The Company Theatre Announces a 2026 Season of Immersive Spectacle and Area Premieres
Published on

The Company Theatre is proud to unveil its 2026 Season, a bold collection of productions defined by immersive storytelling and highly anticipated area premieres. Combining a blend of contemporary and traditional, the 47th Season of this famed local venue invites theatergoers to travel from the smoky underground of pre-war Berlin to the icy magic of Arendelle, embracing the gritty, the magical, and beyond.

“A life dedicated to the arts has many layers; it’s exciting, challenging, and rewarding,” says Co-Founder and Artistic Director Zoe Bradford. “But the most important part of my work is to inspire people: to perform, to create, to be entertained, and to have a break from their routines. The variety of our season reflects the heart of who we are.”

A Season of Contrast: The Mainstage Series

The season opens in the spring with Cabaret (March 6 – 22), inviting audiences to leave their troubles at the door. This immersive production transports patrons to the sexy, seedy 1931 Kit Kat Club, exploring the intoxicating and turbulent life of Berlin under the emerging Third Reich.

The intensity rises in the summer with the area premiere of Jagged Little Pill (July 24 – Aug 16). Based on the iconic music of Alanis Morissette, this Tony and Grammy award-winning production peels back the façade of a "perfect" suburban family to reveal the raw, messy reality beneath.

As autumn arrives, The Company Theatre brings back a cult favorite by popular demand. The Rocky Horror Show (Oct 2 – 18) returns just in time for the spooky season, promising a raunchy, sci-fi gothic rock journey. Get ready to do the “Time Warp” again.

The year culminates with a massive holiday blockbuster for all ages: the area premiere of Disney’s Frozen (Nov 27 – Dec 20). Featuring a full adult cast, this production transforms the stage into a winter wonderland with celestial lighting, stunning scenery, and the unforgettable story of sisterhood and the enduring power of love.

The Next Generation of Talent: Academy of The Company Theatre

Running parallel to the Mainstage season, the Academy (A.C.T.) offers students of all ages the chance to shine in professional-grade productions. The student season kicks off with the jukebox fantasy Once Upon a One More Time (Jan 16 – 25), powered by the hits of Britney Spears.

Down the yellow brick road, the youth season continues with a spectacular technicolor recreation of The Wizard of Oz in April, complete with flying monkeys. The Teen Edition of the Pulitzer Prize-winning A Chorus Line takes center stage in July. Finally, the ghost-with-the-most arrives in November for Beetlejuice Jr., bringing the Netherworld to Norwell in a frightfully funny musical based on the beloved film.

Special Events & Tributes

Throughout the year, the theatre will host a robust slate of one-night-only events and concerts. The lineup includes Draw The Line, the only Aerosmith tribute band endorsed by the rock legends themselves, and the canine comedy spectacular Mutts Gone Nuts!. Music lovers can also look forward to Divas with a Twist, the 50s and 60s nostalgia of Rave On, the authentic sounds of ABBAMANIA, and the return of Holidays with the Divas. Additionally, comedy favorite Denise Fennell temporarily hangs up her habit and returns with her new show, Lessons Learned.
