Experience the Arts This May at Norwell High School
There’s no better time to celebrate the vibrant arts community at Norwell High School than this May! From live music to theater and visual arts, the month is packed with inspiring events that showcase the incredible talent of our student artists and performers. We are so fortunate to have a school system that deeply values and invests in the arts—offering our students opportunities to shine while enriching the entire community.
Kicking off the month is Norwell High School’s Small Ensemble Night on Thursday, May 1, where audiences will enjoy intimate musical performances by some of the school’s most skilled instrumentalists and vocalists. Thursday, May 8 will be this year's first Coffee House in the Little Theater at the high school. Students will share their singing, poetry, and musical talents in a relaxed, low-key environment. Then, get ready to swing into rhythm with the always-popular Clipper Jazz Night, featuring both Norwell Middle and High School jazz ensembles, on Wednesday, May 21.
The excitement continues with a double feature of arts on Thursday, May 22: the Fine Arts Fest, a vibrant celebration of student visual art, and opening night of the Fourth Wall Players Spring Play, The Curious Savage, which runs through Saturday, May 24. Whether you're a drama fan or love a great show, this performance promises to entertain.
Finally, join us as NHS musicians proudly participate in the Norwell Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26, honoring our veterans with music and tradition.
All events are open to the public, and we warmly encourage you and your family to attend. For more details and updates, visit NorwellArts.org. Let’s celebrate the arts—together!
