Are you seeking time to write in inspirational surroundings? If so, this writing retreat on October 13 at Historic New England’s spectacular Eustis Estate is for you!
Your day at the 1878 Gilded Age Eustis Estate mansion in Milton, Massachusetts, will feature hours of uninterrupted writing time on a sofa in the parlor, a window seat in the library, or one of many other picturesque locations. Historical novelist Jodi Daynard, who featured Historic New England’s Quincy House in her bestselling novel The Midwife’s Revolt, will discuss how to do research for historical fiction, and she will be available to answer your writing questions one-on-one throughout the morning.
You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss your work with fellow participants and to enjoy the beauty of fall in New England with a ramble through the 60+ acres of estate grounds nestled in the base of the Blue Hills.
This one-day writing retreat runs from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Tickets cost $80 for Historic New England members, $90 for non-members. Your ticket price includes a dedicated writing space in the mansion, Ms. Daynard’s historical research presentation, opportunity to speak with the author one-on-one, continental breakfast, and lunch.
