Overview:

The Scituate Historical Commission is hosting a community workshop to discuss the development of a historic preservation plan aimed at guiding preservation efforts throughout the town. The plan will focus on how Scituate's historic buildings and landscapes contribute to the town's identity, character, and quality of life.

Agenda:

  • Introduction: Overview of the planning process and objectives.

  • Findings to Date: Summary of insights and data collected so far.

  • Community Discussion: Engagement with attendees to gather input on priorities and opportunities related to community character, development, education, and stewardship of historic and cultural assets.

Participation:

Community members are encouraged to attend in person to share their perspectives and contribute to a plan tailored to Scituate's unique interests and conditions. For those unable to attend in person, virtual participation is available via Zoom.
