Discover the Wonders of the Night at the Owl Prowl in Hingham
The Trustees of Reservations are set to host an "Owl Prowl" at World's End on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This guided evening walk offers participants the chance to learn about local owl species and their nocturnal behaviors.
Attendees will be educated on identifying owls by their calls, understanding their hunting techniques, and discovering their preferred habitats. The event includes a walk along the trails of World's End, listening for owl calls and observing other nocturnal wildlife. While sightings aren't guaranteed, the experience promises an immersive connection with nature.
The walk is rated easy to moderate, covering dirt trails with slight inclines and some semi-rocky terrain. Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Pre-registration is required, with tickets priced at $12 for members and $20 for non-members. In case of cancellation, registrants will be notified via email and refunded within 14 business days.
