Green grass with hands holding the earth in them

April 26- Hanover Crossing Earth Day Event

Published on

Hanover Crossing is going green this April with a family-friendly Earth Day celebration you won’t want to miss! Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Green Space in the center of the shopping plaza for a day of music, art, food, and hands-on activities celebrating our planet.

Enjoy live performances by local favorites Fil Pacino & the UP Lates and Ayla Brown, while relaxing in the sun—don’t forget to bring a chair! Hungry? Grab a bite from Traveling Thyme or cool off with a sweet treat from Sweeties Shaved Ice.

Sullivan’s of Castle Island will be pouring at their pop-up beer garden, and local businesses and garden clubs will be on hand with engaging demonstrations, giveaways, and eco-friendly tips. Be sure to stop by and contribute to a community art project made entirely from recycled materials.

The North and South Rivers Watershed Association (NSRWA) is bringing the fun for younger guests with a kid-friendly obstacle course and scavenger hunt in front of the mural, along with nature-themed activities.

Other highlights include:

  • Free caricatures, face painting, and henna tattoos

  • Giveaways including a rain barrel drawing, prizes from local retailers, and reusable Hanover Crossing shopping bags

Come celebrate sustainability, community, and creativity at Hanover Crossing’s Earth Day event!
