The Norwell Historical Society and the Scituate Historical Society present "Old Scituate Reacts: Patriots Day, 1775" an interactive play recreating a 1775 town meeting.

The play is directed by Oliver Massey and it was written by Wendy Bawabe based on the research and writings of James Glinski.

The play will be presented on Patriots Day, Monday, April 21, 2025, 250 years after the Battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts.

Showings will be at 11 am at First Parish of Norwell, 24 River Street, Norwell and 1:30 pm at First Parish Scituate, 330 First Parish Road, Scituate.

Admission is free, but seating is limited. Come early to be in the room where it happens and hear residents' debates and worries leading up to the start of the Revolutionary War.
