NORWELL, MA — The Savage Godfrey Gallery is set to open its third exhibition, Unique Perspectives, on March 21, featuring the works of three distinctive regional artists: Carole Bolsey, Gints Grinbergs, and Kelly Russo. The show, which runs through June 1, 2025, highlights each artist’s unmistakable style and creative approach. An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Carole Bolsey, known for her large-scale paintings, presents evocative depictions of boats and barns—shapes that transcend time and culture. Her abstracted compositions encourage viewers to create their own connections and interpretations. A seasoned educator, Bolsey has taught at the DeCordova Museum, Harvard University, and Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the country. She lives and paints in Kingston, MA.

Gints Grinbergs transforms discarded steel into striking sculptures inspired by nature’s geometry. His works—ranging from botanical designs to abstract sunbursts—are crafted from repurposed metal and often mounted on stone bases. His large-scale installations can be seen at the Duxbury Free Library and Union Point in Weymouth. Grinbergs lives and works in Dedham, MA.

Kelly Russo’s vibrant, intuitive abstract paintings reflect the organized chaos of daily life. A mother of four, she draws inspiration from the balance of color, shape, and movement, often leaning toward landscapes. A member of the South Shore Art Center, Cambridge Art Association, and Copley Society of Art, Russo lives and works in Scituate, MA.
