The Marshfield High boys hockey team kicked off 2025 with a bang, cruising to a 5-1 victory over Pembroke on Tuesday night at the Bog Ice Arena.

The Rams' offense came out firing, with sophomore Brody Jordan netting his first varsity goal to set the tone. Marshfield’s balanced attack was spearheaded by senior forward Dom Altobello, who lit the lamp twice, while Sean Holte and Jack Doherty each added a goal to the scoreboard.

In net, junior Liam Fullam was a force for the Rams, delivering a solid performance that kept Pembroke’s offense at bay. Fullam’s poise and sharp saves ensured the Rams stayed in control from start to finish.

Pembroke battled hard and managed to break through with a lone goal in the second period, but Marshfield’s defense held strong, limiting quality scoring opportunities and keeping the puck in the offensive zone for much of the game.
