Marshfield High School boys basketball coach Bob Fisher celebrated a monumental achievement Friday night, securing his 700th career victory with a dominant 65-46 win over Silver Lake Regional High School. The game was a showcase of Marshfield's strong offense and disciplined play, delivering the historic milestone for their legendary coach.

Fisher, a towering figure in Massachusetts high school basketball, began his coaching career at Rockland High School in 1969. Over the years, he has guided teams to state championships, served as an athletic director, and built programs that consistently perform at the highest levels. After a successful stint at Quincy High School, Fisher took over at Marshfield in 2008, where he has continued his legacy of excellence.

Friday’s win marked another milestone in Bob Fisher’s storied career, which includes numerous on-court achievements and recognition for his contributions to high school basketball. In 2018, he received the "BABC Lifetime Achievement/Friend of Game Award," highlighting his impact on the sport and the community.

This 700th win cements Fisher's status as a true icon in Massachusetts sports, marking a milestone few achieve and serving as an enduring legacy for future athletes and coaches.
