William P Malley, 78 of Cohasset passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2025.

Born in 1946, Billy was raised and lived in Cohasset his whole life. Billy was the only son of the late Edward P Malley and Celia M Malley of Cohasset. He is predeceased by his two sisters, Constance M Callahan of Cohasset and Pauline M Byrnes of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

After graduating High School, Billy began a long and dedicated career as a technician for the phone company in Boston where he worked for more than 30 years. Following his retirement, he pursued a second career as a licensed electrician, proudly following in the footsteps of his late father.

Billy had a deep love for family and never missed a gathering, holiday, or party.

His tall stature, bright smile and bellowing laugh filled every room he entered. Billy was a constant source of joy and support to both his family and friends. A true outdoorsman, Billy found peace in nature- whether fishing, boating, or taking long walks in the woods with his two beloved dogs. He was a passionate collector of high quality fishing gear and had more lures than most could imagine. Billy lived his life his own way, the "Malley way" and found happiness in doing so.

He leaves behind his cherished nieces Gayle Patrolia of Hingham, and Meredith Hassan of Cohasset, and his nephew Charlie Callahan of Scituate.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews Greg Byrnes of South Carolina, and predeceased by Jennifer Byrnes, also of South Carolina.
