Louise M. (Arnos) Alibrandi, of Cohasset, formerly of Hull, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in Weymouth. She was 78.

Louise was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on January 17, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Louis P. and Theonie (Anastos) Arnos. She was raised in New Hampshire and New York, and graduated from Columbia High School in Rensselaer County, New York.

Louise was incredibly proud of her Greek heritage, and her family's roots run deep in Hull. Her grandparents George and Margaret Anastos, who emigrated from Greece built Anastos Corner and the Apollo theater. The family's hard work building homes in the coastal town are a part of its rich history. Louise also carried her heritage of Greek cuisine into her kitchen, where food and pastries became a signature of every gathering.

Louise’s entrepreneurial roots were the driving force behind her success in creating The Face Place and Spa in Hanover established in 1984 where she built a career in the skin care industry. She was often recognized by local magazines, organizations and media as a pioneer in the skin care and beauty industry. Louise was dynamic, creative, and artistic, whether she was arranging flowers, cooking, or setting up for a party, creativity shaped everything she did. She loved beautiful things, interior design, fashion design, and never missed watching the red carpet and the latest movie premieres. She had an eye for style and a weakness for shopping and a good online find.

Louise's curiosity was boundless. She loved history, art, documentaries, and film, and was fascinated by the Enneagram, numerology, and the ways numbers and character types reveal something about personality and connection to the world. She traveled to Europe and often made the trip to the Palm Springs Film Festival, and was always drawn to interesting, eccentric people.

Her love of beauty extended to her community. Louise helped found the Hull Harbor Festival and the Hull Arts and Crafts Association and its juried art show, gifts that continue to bring artists and neighbors together.

Most of all, Louise connected people through her home at 65 Harborview Road in Hull. She was hands-on in designing the modern contemporary home with her friend and architect Jim Barrett. It had breathtaking views of the Boston skyline, harbor and Boston Light, and it became the place where everyone gathered. Fourth of July and Christmas Eve there were traditions her family and friends will always treasure. The lush, landscaped grounds and flower gardens of dahlias, zinnias, peonies, and rugosa roses reflected the same care and artistry she brought to everything.

Louise was the devoted mother of Alyssa Peppino of Kingston, and AJ Alibrandi of Cohasset. She was the loving grandmother of Michael A. Peppino of Kingston, Anthony C. Alibrandi of Hull, Marco C. Peppino of Kingston, and Montana R. Alibrandi of Hull. Louise was the dear sister of Peter Arnos and his wife Ednamae (Raina and Louis) of New York, and George Arnos (Louis, George, Johnny) and his wife Laurie of Hull. She is also survived by her loving canine companion Gigi, and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and her loyal staff and clients of The Face Place.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Route 18).

Louise’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, October 23, 2026, in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St., Weymouth, MA 02190. Cremation will follow. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Louise's name to the charitable organization of one's choice.
