John "Jack" F. Crowley of Duxbury passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Jack was the beloved husband of Linda (Cupples) Crowley; loving father of Heather Crowley of Marshfield, John Crowley and his wife Anne of Duxbury, Erin Crowley of Duxbury, and Stephanie McWilliam and her husband Scott of Kildeer, IL; cherished grandfather of Jake, Luke, Tate, Jack, Madelyn, Lilah, Julia, and the late David. Son of the late John J. and Madelyn I. (Maguire) Crowley, he was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Hussey.

Jack attended Catholic Memorial High School where he was a multi-sport athlete and later attended Stonehill College, graduating with a degree in Sociology. In 1967, while studying at Stonehill he met the love of his life, Linda, while summering in Marshfield. In 1969 the two married and shortly thereafter started a family, beginning the chapter of his life that he took the most pride in. While raising their family in Duxbury, Jack was involved in school sports and other activities with his children and later his grandchildren, where more recently he became known as Granddad or G'Daddy, cheering on his grandchildren and their friends.

Jack was extremely active, enjoying golf and pickleball, and loved to watch the Boston teams. In ten years of the Crowley Family Fantasy Football League he never won but came close (but not too close), losing to his grandkids year after year. In retirement, he was active in the church and used his handyman skills as a volunteer with My Brother's Keeper. He loved to travel and see the world, experiencing the many cities he had visited during his career in international business. His travel also allowed him to maintain lasting friendships around the globe that were forged during his career. His favorite travel companions were the members of his family, and he loved to plan trips that brought everyone together in one place, often to celebrate nothing more than being together. He loved sharing stories of his youth, his family, and his Irish heritage over a glass of red wine or Grand Marnier and had incredible accounts of his travels to places most people could only dream of visiting. He will be remembered by his family as the man who loved a good dad joke, took great pride in his family, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
