On Saturday, October 3rd, the Norwell Public Library Foundation celebrated the NPL by hosting their annual fundraiser. This year’s event, called “Get Loud at the Library… AGAIN!”, featured an art show, a special guess speaker, over 150 attendees, and an evening of fun (that was loud!).
Celebrity portrait photographer Deborah Feingold opened the evening with a special V.I.P. reception and talk. Deborah’s witty presentation gave guests an inside look into the world of celebrity photography—from tales of Tina Turner’s contagious smile to Barack Obama’s hotel room. Deborah’s exhibit of celebrity photographs will be on display (and for sale!) at the Norwell Public Library until October 31st.
Over $25,000 was raised to support the Norwell Public Library, and party go-ers were able to donate throughout the evening by purchasing raffle tickets, buying Deborah’s book, and fulfilling the NPL’s wish list of items.
