In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local poets Dzvinia Orlowsky of Marshfield and Elaine Sorrentino of Pembroke present Pink LemonAid: Breast Cancer-Inspired Stories, Poetry and Art on Saturday, October 17, 3 pm, at South Shore Conservatory’s Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George Street, Duxbury. This awareness event is free and open to the public. Proceeds from poetry books sold at this event will be donated toward programs that fund transportation to treatment for those in need.
