Books in Bloom Returns to the Paul Pratt Memorial Library
The Town of Cohasset is pleased to share that the Community Garden Club of Cohasset will present its popular “Books in Bloom” event from June 4 to 7 at the Paul Pratt Memorial Library.
This free, community event pairs floral artistry with literature, as club members and local floral designers create imaginative arrangements inspired by their favorite books. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant displays during regular library hours:
Wednesday & Thursday (June 4–5): 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday & Saturday (June 6–7): 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
A live floral demonstration will also take place on Saturday, June 7 from 10:30–11:30 a.m., offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at floral design techniques.
Guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite arrangement using onsite QR codes to help select the “Best in Show” — a fun and interactive way to engage with the displays.
The Community Garden Club of Cohasset, with over 100 members, supports numerous local initiatives, including junior gardening programs, senior center workshops, educational scholarships, and community beautification projects. Their programs are made possible through fundraising events like the annual May Plant Sale and the biennial Yuletide House Tour, which returns this year on December 4.

We encourage residents of all ages to stop by the library, celebrate the intersection of art and literature, and support the club’s inspiring work in our community.
